  • World Talent Organization launches USA ‘The Brand Bharat’ to give Indian businesses greater global visibility

World Talent Organization launches USA ‘The Brand Bharat’ to give Indian businesses greater global visibility

New Jersey [USA], August 20: The World Talent Organization (WTO) USA, a global no.1 world record certification platform, has launched “The Brand Bharat”, an initiative aimed at recognising Indian businesses and talent and helping them build a stronger presence in international markets.

The initiative comes as Indian enterprises across sectors increasingly look beyond the domestic market for exports, partnerships and new growth avenues. ‘The Brand Bharat’ seeks to provide businesses with a platform to showcase their capabilities and credentials to a wider international audience.

India has a long history of trade and commerce, from its role in ancient trading networks to its emergence as one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing economies. Its business ecosystem today spans millions of enterprises, from small and medium-sized businesses to large companies with global operations. For many smaller companies, however, establishing a presence overseas involves challenges around brand visibility, establishing credentials, and building trust with potential customers and partners.

‘The Brand Bharat’ has been conceived to address some of these challenges through certification, supported by opportunities for branding, international promotion and strategic connections. The initiative will cover businesses across sectors, including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, food and beverages, engineering, education, finance, automotive, travel and professional services.

Mihir Brahmbhatt, Founder and CEO at World Talent Organization USA, said the initiative intends to create a stronger link between Indian enterprises and the global business community.

“India has no shortage of capable businesses, innovative products or entrepreneurial talent. The challenge is often making that strength visible and credible beyond our borders. ‘The Brand Bharat’ seeks to give Indian enterprises a platform to present what they have built and create greater opportunities to engage with the world,” he said.

Chirag Gadhiya, Co-founder and President at World Talent Organization USA, said the initiative reflects the broader direction of India’s economic ambitions.

“Hon’ble Prime Minister of India’s emphasis on ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ has placed great attention on the strength of Indian enterprise. ‘The Brand Bharat’ takes that idea into the international arena by highlighting not just Indian products, but the businesses, entrepreneurs and talent behind them,” he said.

    World Talent Organization

Businesses recognised through the initiative will receive certification under WTO’s framework, along with opportunities for branding and promotional support to strengthen their international profile. WTO also plans to work with industry leaders and global ambassadors to create avenues for greater exposure and connections.

The initiative places particular emphasis on trust, an important consideration in cross-border business. For enterprises seeking overseas customers, distributors or strategic partners, such certification can provide an additional point of reference.

Through ‘The Brand Bharat’, WTO aims to highlight the breadth of the country’s business and entrepreneurial base. The initiative seeks to support Indian businesses as they pursue opportunities internationally and contribute to the country’s growing role in global trade.

  • Hands of Heritage, Heart of Freedom: How IndiTemptation Is Weaving the Soul of Atmanirbhar Bharat

Hands of Heritage, Heart of Freedom: How IndiTemptation Is Weaving the Soul of Atmanirbhar Bharat

There are many ways to measure the progress of a nation. We often look at the factories that rise against the skyline, the technologies that cross borders, the businesses that create employment and the industries that contribute to economic growth. But there is another, quieter measure of a nation’s strength that is often overlooked. It can be found in the hands of the people who continue to create, often with little recognition, using skills passed down from one generation to another.

Think of the potter working with clay, patiently turning the wheel and giving shape to something as simple as earth. Think of the artisan working with terracotta, the craftsperson shaping Dokra or brass, or the artist carefully filling a canvas with the distinctive forms of Madhubani or Gond art. Behind each of these creations is not just a product, but years of knowledge, practice, and tradition.

This is also the living spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

As India prepares to celebrate another Independence Day, it is important to remember that self-reliance is not only about large industries, technology or manufacturing. It also begins with the millions of skilled people who have the ability to turn their traditional knowledge and creativity into a livelihood. When an artisan is able to earn a sustainable income from their craft, reach new customers and find a market beyond their immediate surroundings, that too is a meaningful expression of self-reliance.

This is where IndiTemptation.com sees an opportunity to make a difference.

The platform is working to create a bridge between India’s artisan communities and consumers who appreciate authentic, handmade products. By bringing traditional Indian crafts into contemporary homes and lifestyles, IndiTemptation is helping these art forms reach audiences beyond the places where they originated. More importantly, it is helping bring attention to the people behind these creations.

The purpose goes beyond selling handicrafts. At its heart is the belief that when we support handmade products, we are also supporting the skill, time and livelihood of the person who created them.

    IndiTemptation

    A Vision Rooted in Heritage

For Parna Banerjee Bhaduri, Founder and CEO of IndiTemptation, the idea grew from a deep appreciation for the emotional value of handmade objects. In a world where so many things are mass-produced and increasingly similar, she wanted to create a space where craftsmanship could retain its individuality and where the story behind an object could be valued along with its beauty.

For her, artisans are not simply people who make products. They are custodians of traditions that have survived for generations. Their work carries memories of places, communities and cultures, and keeping those traditions alive also means creating an environment in which artisans can continue to earn from their skills.

“IndiTemptation was born from a desire to bring India’s timeless craftsmanship into spaces that seek beauty with depth. Every handcrafted piece carries the heartbeat, resilience and silent devotion of an artisan. When you bring an artifact into your home, you aren’t simply decorating a space—you are preserving a culture and contributing to an artisan’s journey toward self-reliance,” says Parna.

This, in many ways, reflects a broader understanding of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Self-reliance is not simply about making products within the country. It is also about strengthening the people who have the knowledge and ability to create those products.

From the Artisan’s Hands to the Global Home

    IndiTemptation

India’s enormous cultural diversity is reflected in its crafts. Different regions have developed their own materials, techniques, colours, designs and methods of storytelling. A piece of art or craft often carries a strong connection to the place from which it comes.

IndiTemptation aims to take these traditions beyond their geographical boundaries and introduce them to contemporary consumers in India and across the world. The idea is not to change the identity of these crafts, but to give them a wider audience and a place in modern homes and lifestyles.

Traditional Indian art forms such as Gond, Madhubani and Tanjore painting are good examples. These works are not merely decorative. They often draw from mythology, nature, spirituality and everyday life, carrying stories and visual traditions that have evolved over generations. When such art finds a place in a contemporary home, it allows an old artistic language to continue speaking to a new generation.

The same is true of India’s rich traditions of pottery and terracotta. Clay has been an important part of Indian life and culture for centuries. From traditional pottery and terracotta to handcrafted planters and ceramic décor, artisans have demonstrated how simple natural materials can be transformed into objects of beauty and utility. Crafts such as Jaipur Blue Pottery further demonstrate the variety and sophistication of India’s craft traditions.

Metalcraft offers another fascinating example. The lost-wax technique used in Dokra, traditional brassware, and handcrafted metal jewellery are the result of knowledge and skills refined over generations. These traditions remind us that India’s heritage is not something that belongs only to the past. It continues to be created by artisans even today.

    IndiTemptation

When these traditional crafts become part of contemporary décor, fashion, or everyday living, they are given an opportunity to remain relevant. Heritage, after all, survives not only when it is preserved, but when it continues to be used, appreciated, and passed on.

The Consumer Is Also Part of the Journey

The responsibility of building a self-reliant India does not rest with governments and businesses alone. Consumers, too, have an important role to play.

Every purchase reflects a choice. When we choose a handmade product over something mass-produced, we are making a small but meaningful contribution to the ecosystem that supports craftsmanship. We are recognising the value of skill, originality and the human effort behind an object.

For artisans, access to a wider market can make an important difference. It can provide opportunities to earn more sustainably and, perhaps most importantly, encourage younger generations to see traditional craftsmanship as a viable profession rather than something that must eventually disappear.

This is where platforms such as IndiTemptation can play an important role. By connecting artisans with consumers, they can help close the gap between the person who creates and the person who appreciates and purchases the creation.

    Independence Beyond the Flag

August 15 reminds us of the freedom India achieved in 1947. But the meaning of independence has continued to evolve over the decades. Today, it also means creating opportunities, strengthening livelihoods and ensuring that India’s progress includes the communities whose skills and knowledge have contributed to its cultural identity.

For this reason, the conversation around Atmanirbhar Bharat can also be a conversation about India’s artisans.

The potter, painter, metalworker, weaver, sculptor, jeweller and countless other craftspeople are all part of India’s creative economy. Their work represents not only tradition, but also enterprise. With the right opportunities, their skills can provide livelihoods, support families, and give younger generations a reason to carry these traditions forward.

IndiTemptation’s contribution lies in trying to create that connection between heritage and opportunity. By bringing Indian craftsmanship closer to today’s consumers, the platform hopes to give artisans greater visibility while helping traditional art forms find a place in contemporary life.

This Independence Day, perhaps we should look beyond the familiar symbols of freedom and take a moment to notice the hands that continue to create India every day. The hands of an artisan may not make headlines, but they carry something incredibly valuable—the knowledge and creativity of generations.

A self-reliant India will certainly be built through industries, innovation, and technology. But it will also be strengthened by people who can create with their own hands, earn through their skills, and take pride in the heritage they carry forward.

Supporting those hands is therefore not simply about buying a beautiful object. It is about recognising the person behind it and giving their craft a chance to live on.

That is the spirit IndiTemptation hopes to celebrate this Independence Day: a connection between India’s heritage and its future, between artisans and consumers, and between traditional knowledge and new opportunities.

Because Atmanirbhar Bharat is ultimately about people—their skills, their creativity, their dignity, and their ability to build a future through what they know and love to create.

One artisan, one creation, one livelihood, and one story at a time.

    IndiTemptation
Celebrating Indian Heritage. Empowering Artisan Enterprise. Advancing the Spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

  • Majiwada Demolition Order Raises Troubling Questions: Who Protects the People When Homes Become Part of a Disputed Land Battle?

Thane (Maharashtra) [India], August 8: In a matter where the complete truth is still buried beneath competing claims, legal proceedings and administrative records, one thing is increasingly difficult to ignore: ordinary people appear to be facing the consequences of a dispute they did not create.

The controversy surrounding Survey No. 349/3 at Mouje Majiwada, Taluka and District Thane, has taken a deeply unsettling turn following an order by the Tehsildar and Agricultural Lands Tribunal directing the removal of houses, shops and other structures standing on the disputed land.

Whether every claim made by either side is ultimately found to be correct is a matter for the competent authorities and courts to determine. But the circumstances surrounding the proposed demolition have already triggered serious questions about fairness, transparency and the manner in which such an action can affect the lives of people who have built homes, businesses and livelihoods around the property.

At its heart, this is no longer merely a question of land records.

It is a question of what happens to people when an old and contested property dispute suddenly produces an order with potentially irreversible consequences.

The records indicate that the matter involves competing claims relating to ownership and possession, long-standing structures, registered transactions, revenue proceedings and previous litigation. The applicants have also raised claims concerning land belonging to a Scheduled Tribe and protections under Sections 36 and 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

With so many layers surrounding the property, the obvious public concern is whether every relevant issue has been examined with the degree of caution expected before structures inhabited or used by people are ordered to be removed.

When an Order Can Change Lives Overnight

For the residents and businesses affected by the proposed action, the matter cannot be viewed merely through the language of survey numbers, revenue records and administrative proceedings.

Behind every structure stands a human story.

There may be families who have spent years living there, businesses that depend upon those premises, employees whose incomes are linked to those establishments and individuals who may have nowhere else to turn if demolition takes place.

That is why the urgency surrounding the proposed action has become a matter of public concern.

The question is not whether laws should be enforced. The question is whether enforcement can be carried out without first ensuring that every affected person has a meaningful opportunity to understand, challenge and respond to the decision.

Where Is the Clear Route to Appeal?

One of the most striking concerns surrounding the order is the apparent absence of a clear indication of the appellate or revisional remedy available to affected persons.

The order directs the respondents to remove the structures standing on the disputed property. Yet affected citizens have a legitimate need to know where they can challenge such a decision, which authority has jurisdiction to hear their grievance and what statutory time limit applies.

This becomes particularly important when the consequence of administrative action could be irreversible.

A citizen facing demolition should not have to discover the route to legal protection after the demolition process has already begun.

The absence of clear information regarding available remedies does not, by itself, establish that the order is legally invalid. However, where homes and livelihoods are potentially at stake, the issue warrants careful examination from the standpoint of procedural fairness and access to justice.

A Court Direction Does Not End Every Question

Available records indicate that the Bombay High Court directed the concerned Tehsildar to consider the applicants’ representation and take a decision within a stipulated period.

The distinction between being directed to decide a representation and being directed to demolish structures is therefore important.

An administrative authority deciding a matter following a court direction must still act within the scope of its statutory powers and consider the competing claims placed before it.

That makes the reasoning behind the final order particularly significant.

What material was examined before the decision was reached? What competing claims were considered? Were all affected parties given an effective opportunity to present their case?

These are questions that deserve answers rather than assumptions.

The Question Nobody Can Afford to Ignore: What Happens Next?

The proposed demolition has also generated a larger question that goes beyond the immediate dispute.

If the structures are removed, what happens to the land thereafter?
    Who ultimately takes possession?
Is any development proposed on the property?

Are there any Development Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, Powers of Attorney, layout plans, building proposals, consent terms or other arrangements involving private entities?

At present, these questions should be treated as questions requiring verification—not as proof of any wrongdoing.

If no private developer or commercial interest is connected with the property, the matter should be clarified publicly. If such an interest exists, transparency becomes even more important.

The public deserves to understand what lies beyond the immediate question of demolition.

Allegations of Private Interests Require an Independent Answer

Some affected residents have alleged that the proposed action could ultimately facilitate private development interests and have questioned the role of certain officials.

Those allegations remain allegations and should not be treated as established facts without evidence.

At the same time, dismissing them without examination would also leave an unnecessary cloud over the entire process.

That is precisely why an independent inquiry has been demanded.

An impartial examination of the records, correspondence, official file notings, permissions and decisions would help establish whether the process was entirely administrative and lawful, or whether any outside influence played a role.

If there is nothing improper, an independent inquiry can establish that. If irregularities are discovered, the same process can identify where accountability lies.

    Either way, transparency benefits everyone.

The Human Cost Cannot Become an Administrative Footnote

Land disputes can continue for years. Documents can be contested, ownership can be litigated and claims can change hands.

But people cannot put their lives on hold indefinitely.

For a family, a house is not merely a structure on a survey map. For a shopkeeper, a commercial premises is not simply an entry in a revenue record. It may represent decades of investment, employment and financial security.

That is why any action involving demolition must be approached with extraordinary care.

The law may ultimately determine who has the stronger claim to the land. But until that process is meaningfully exhausted, the human consequences of irreversible action deserve equal attention.

    The Questions That Remain

Several questions therefore continue to demand clear answers:

    • Who will ultimately take possession of the property if the structures are demolished?
    • What is proposed for the land after demolition?
    • Is any builder, developer or private entity connected with the property?
    • Are any development proposals or related documents pending before Government authorities?
    • What do the official files and correspondence reveal about the decision-making process?
    • Why does the order not clearly identify the appellate or revisional remedy available to affected citizens?
    • Were all affected residents given a meaningful opportunity to challenge the proposed action?
    • What explains the urgency surrounding demolition when the property is subject to competing claims and a long history of proceedings?

These questions do not prejudge the final legal outcome.

They simply reflect the concerns of people who may bear the consequences of a decision that cannot easily be reversed.

A Call for Transparency Before Irreversible Action

The demand being raised is therefore straightforward: make the complete record available, allow independent scrutiny and ensure that affected citizens have meaningful access to every legal remedy available to them before any irreversible action is taken.

An independent inquiry headed by a retired High Court Judge or an equivalent senior authority could examine the legality, jurisdiction, reasoning and administrative process behind the decision.

The relevant development documents, Government file notings, permissions, proposals and correspondence concerning the property should also be placed under appropriate scrutiny.

Until these questions are adequately addressed, maintaining the status quo would provide an opportunity for all sides to pursue their remedies without creating consequences that cannot be undone.

This is not a demand to declare one party right and another wrong.

It is not a demand to shield anyone from lawful action.

It is a demand for fairness before finality.

Because when an administrative decision can potentially take away a home, disrupt a livelihood or dismantle a business, the process leading to that decision matters as much as the decision itself.

Nobody should have to discover the value of due process only after their home has been demolished.

The truth may eventually emerge through the courts, official records or an independent inquiry.

Until then, the most responsible course is not to rush toward irreversible action, but to answer the questions that have unsettled the people of Majiwada.

Make the file transparent. Make the process accountable. Give every affected citizen a meaningful opportunity to be heard. And until those safeguards are exhausted, let no home be reduced to rubble.

The ceremony was held in the august presence of General Dr V K Singh, Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram and Patron of the initiative. The race was conducted at Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantonment, where 8000+ of citizens, soldiers, veterans, defence families, students, institutions, corporate teams and fitness enthusiasts came together to take part in one of India’s most iconic tribute runs.

“The President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon is not just a run – it is a national expression of gratitude to the soldiers of India. It brings citizens and the Armed Forces together in the true spirit of service, discipline and patriotism. The legacy of The President’s Bodyguard is one of honour, courage and duty, and this historic initiative will inspire generations to remember, respect and stand with our soldiers,” said General Dr V K Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram, Former Chief of the Army Staff and Patron, Soldierathon.

The President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon stood as a grand national tribute to the courage, sacrifice and service of India’s soldiers. Guided by the message Run With Soldiers, Run For Soldiers, the event strengthened the bond between civilians and the Armed Forces, while giving citizens a rare opportunity to express their respect for the men and women who serve the nation.

The President’s Bodyguard, popularly known as PBG, is one of the most prestigious military regiments of India. Raised in 1773, The President’s Bodyguard is the personal troops of the Hon’ble President of India, the world’s only Airborne Cavalry Regiment, the oldest Risala and the senior most regiment of the Indian Armed Forces. For 253 years, the regiment has stood as a symbol of honour, loyalty, courage, discipline and selfless service to the nation.

Its soldiers represent the finest balance of ceremonial excellence and operational readiness. Trained as horsemen, paratroopers and tankmen, the men of The President’s Bodyguard carry forward a legacy that is both historic and living. The inaugural President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon celebrated this extraordinary journey while also commemorating 27 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas, paying tribute to the bravery, sacrifice and victory of India’s soldiers.

The Soldierathon was held in three race categories: Paramvir Run 10 km, Mahavir Run 5 km and Vir 3 km. At Cariappa Parade Ground, the atmosphere reflected the spirit of a national tribute. From competitive runners to first-time participants, from soldiers and veterans to students and families, every participant carried the same emotion: gratitude towards India’s Armed Forces. For many, the run was not about timing. It was about remembrance. Every step was a salute, every kilometre carried pride, and every participant became part of a larger national message that India remembers, respects and stands with its soldiers.

The event also supported the larger message of the Fit India Movement and encouraged young citizens to embrace healthy living through the message Say Yes to Sports and No to Drugs. Beyond the finish line, the President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon carried a deeper national purpose. Proceeds from Soldierathon support the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre of the Armed Forces, where injured and wounded soldiers receive treatment, rehabilitation and support. The event also supports the welfare of the wards of battle casualties and other soldier welfare initiatives. In addition, the PBG Soldierathon intends to support the troops and horses of The President’s Bodyguard, including welfare efforts for PBG personnel and the care of horses that remain central to the regiment’s proud equestrian tradition.

Major Surendra Poonia, VSM, Founder of Soldierathon and Fitistan, said, “I had the honour and privilege of serving in The President’s Bodyguard. This is my own regiment, and to see the inaugural President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon being flagged off by the Hon’ble President of India is an emotion beyond words. PBG represents the highest standards of honour, discipline and service. Through this Soldierathon, we are not only celebrating its 253-year legacy, but we are also standing with its troops, its horses and every injured and wounded soldier who has given so much for the nation. This event is a humble salute to those who serve silently, bravely and selflessly.”

Speaking about the emotional power of the event, Shilpa Bhagat, Founder, said, “The President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon showed the true heart of India. We saw a toddler in the cradle with her mother, and we saw a 94-year-old senior citizen participating with pride. That is the emotion of Soldierathon. It is not only for runners. It is for every Indian who wants to say thank you to our soldiers. This event brought generations together in one shared feeling of gratitude, respect and national pride.”

The Soldierathon movement has, over the years, grown as a patriotic marathon platform inspired by the ideals of service before self, resilience, discipline and national pride. Guided by the vision of leaders including Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, General Bipin Rawat and its current Patron General Dr V K Singh, Soldierathon continues to strengthen the connection between civilians and the Armed Forces through fitness and purposeful action. With the Hon’ble President of India flagging off the inaugural edition, the President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon became a rare national moment where Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President’s Bodyguard, the Armed Forces and citizens came together in one shared tribute. Guided by the Military Secretary to the President, Maj Gen Voodev Parida, AVSM, VSM, the Team PBG led by Commandant Col Amit Berwal, VSM, worked relentlessly with Team Soldierathon to accomplish this rare fete in just over three weeks, leading to a spectacular display of civil-military synergy and national pride.

A special highlight of the occasion was SENA Made By The Bravest, an initiative created in honour of injured and wounded soldiers at the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre. The SENA jacket and merchandise showcased at the event carried a powerful message of purpose, reminding everyone that the movement goes beyond the race and stands for the real heroes who continue to inspire the nation. Every product represented a commitment to support injured and wounded soldiers and keep their courage at the heart of the movement.

The inaugural President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon was more than a race. It was a presidentially flagged-off tribute, a celebration of military legacy and a powerful expression of citizen gratitude. From the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan to Cariappa Parade Ground, from the Special Postal Cover release to thousands of participants running with pride, the day reflected one unforgettable message: India remembers its soldiers, India respects its soldiers, and India stands with its soldiers.

The organisers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all ranks of the PBG and all partners who supported this vision and helped make the inaugural President’s Bodyguard Soldierathon a truly memorable national tribute. Special thanks to Title Partner Wonder Cement and Powered By Bhutani Infra, along with Cupid Limited, Bharat Express, Wonder Home Finance Limited, ONGC, GAIL, SENA Made By The Bravest, State Bank of India, D&J, Pragati Group, Bisleri, Digitek, GroundZero, BigFlex, Storia, Bagrrys, Enerzal, Max Protein, Cornitos, Yakult, Yodley, Dukes, Crunch Fitness, Dr Kinju Mishra Physio, Blinkit Ambulances, YesMadam, Radio City, Active & Alive and Zixa for their support in bringing this historic tribute to life.

  • MILT Congress 2026: India’s Corporate Buyers Are Rewriting the Rules of MICE and Luxury Travel

MILT Congress 2026: India’s Corporate Buyers Are Rewriting the Rules of MICE and Luxury Travel

MILT Congress 2026 successfully concludes in Goa after facilitating over 2,000 pre-scheduled business meetings, bringing together India’s leading corporate buyers with the world’s top hospitality brands, destinations and tourism boards.

Panaji (Goa) [India], August 6: The 13th Annual MICE India & Luxury Travel (MILT) Congress concluded successfully at ITC Grand Goa, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, reaffirming India’s growing influence on the global MICE and luxury travel landscape. Over two days, more than 150 senior corporate travel and MICE buyers connected with 40+ international hospitality brands, destinations and tourism boards through over 2,000 pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings designed to generate meaningful business opportunities.

More than a networking platform, this year’s Congress reflected a clear shift in the global travel industry. From first-time hospitality brands entering the Indian market to established international brands strengthening their presence, the event demonstrated the increasing importance of Indian outbound MICE and luxury travel for destinations worldwide. Conversations throughout the Congress highlighted a market that is becoming more experience-led, purpose driven, technology-enabled and focused on creating measurable business outcomes.

The following insights from  industry leaders capture the key themes that defined MILT Congress 2026 and the opportunities shaping the future of India’s outbound travel market.

A Market Too Big to Ignore

The geographic spread on the floor made the point on its own. Absolute Group of Companies described a room stacked with tourism boards and brands “from Peru to Australia”, with strong representation from Japan and Taiwan alongside it. First-time destination partner Moscow City Tourism Committee used the Congress to position itself as “a premier MICE destination” for the Indian market, while returning for the fifth time this year, Hong Kong Tourism Board called India “one of Hong Kong’s most strategically important markets for both MICE and luxury travel”. Debut hospitality partners Crossroads Maldives and The Julius Prague both entered the market for the first time through MILT, and Resorts World Sentosa returned specifically for “direct access to local Indian corporate buyers”. Fewer than a decade ago, few of these destinations treated India as a priority market. This year, they built their Congress strategy around it.

What the Indian Business Traveller Actually Wants Now

The sessions and side conversations pointed to the same shift reshaping outbound travel globally. Hong Kong Tourism Board said Indian corporates are now “seeking business events that inspire, engage and create lasting impact, while luxury travellers are looking for authentic and personalised experiences” — a move away from standard MICE packages toward something more tailored. That shows up in what buyers are prioritising on-site too: delegate Haefely AG Switzerland singled out sessions on “sustainability, safety, and AI” as the most valuable part of its first Congress, while Occasion Xperts pointed to the shift toward “structured one-to-one meetings” over generic trade-show networking as the format buyers are actively asking for.

    Deals, Not Just Diaries

The numbers suggest this activity converted into real business rather than just calendar invites. Sands Resorts Macao logged around 30 qualified meetings on day one alone, calling the returns “an incredible ROI. Almost 10 years together in this partnership and we get a great ROI for every time we join!”

Maxx Royal Resorts saw its 10 guaranteed meetings nearly triple to “20-25 meetings and strong potential for future business”Crossroads Maldives reported over 20 meetings, and Shaze Luxury Retail Limited logged more than 25 — several already “sharing their proposals” in follow-up. JTB India Pacific Headquarters said business-to-business meetings generated this year exceeded expectations. “The quality and number of corporate buyers continue to grow, giving us the opportunity to meet both existing and new decision-makers in one place

    The Buyers’ Verdict

It wasn’t only suppliers making the case. Buyers spanning direct selling, pharmaceuticals, financial services,   technology and luxury travel management described the same market shift from their side of the table. CIPLA Limited — attending since MILT’s first Mumbai chapter — said the Congress has “always helped them gain knowledge” for its business travel programme across all 13 editions. Kimbal Technologies said the innovation on show helps it “design itineraries in a smarter way” for employees, and Prometheus Group said the standard MILT sets is one it now expects to “deliver further to our employees, extend to our customers” Herbalife India Senior Director – Distribution & Customer Sales Services describes ‘The meetings were highly productive, and we have identified several promising partnership opportunities.’’

    Looking Ahead

Put together, the two days in Goa reflect an industry moving fast to catch up with Indian demand — for more personalised, better-designed, tech-enabled MICE and luxury travel, delivered by whichever destination gets to the table first. With India’s outbound MICE and luxury travel market continuing to grow at pace, MILT Congress 2026 closes having reaffirmed its position as one of the region’s most influential platforms connecting corporate buyers with the global travel and hospitality industry.

ACTIZEET® Cares Launches Emergency Flood Relief Initiative for Families Affected by the Assam Floods

ACTIZEET® Cares, the CSR arm of ACTIZEET®, has launched an Emergency Flood Relief Initiative in Assam, providing food, drinking water, hygiene kits, blankets, and essential supplies through local partnerships.

Guwahati [Assam], August 4: ACTIZEET® Cares, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the wellness brand ACTIZEET®, has announced the launch of its Emergency Flood Relief Initiative to support families affected by the recent floods in Assam. The initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to humanitarian assistance, community resilience, and responsible corporate citizenship during one of the most challenging monsoon seasons in the region.

The recent floods have disrupted the lives of thousands of families across multiple districts in Assam, leaving many without access to safe shelter, clean drinking water, food supplies, and essential healthcare. While government agencies, disaster response teams, volunteers, and local organizations continue their tireless efforts, there remains a significant need for coordinated support that reaches vulnerable communities with dignity and compassion.

Recognizing this urgent need, ACTIZEET® Cares is mobilizing resources to contribute to ongoing relief efforts through partnerships with local organizations, volunteers, and humanitarian stakeholders. The initiative aims to complement existing relief operations by supporting the delivery of essential supplies and promoting long-term community recovery.

“Our hearts are with every family that has been affected by the devastating floods in Assam,” said a spokesperson for ACTIZEET® Cares. “Natural disasters remind us that compassion and collective action are essential. Through ACTIZEET® Cares, we are committed to supporting communities during difficult times while working alongside trusted local partners who understand the needs of the people they serve.”

The Emergency Flood Relief Initiative is designed around several key priorities, including the distribution of food supplies, drinking water, hygiene essentials, blankets, clothing, and other emergency relief materials based on local needs and partner coordination. The program also seeks to encourage community participation by bringing together volunteers, social organizations, and responsible businesses to strengthen relief efforts wherever possible.

Beyond immediate humanitarian assistance, ACTIZEET® Cares believes that disaster recovery extends well beyond the emergency phase. The organization recognizes the importance of helping communities rebuild livelihoods, restore confidence, and strengthen resilience against future natural disasters. As rehabilitation efforts continue, the CSR initiative intends to explore opportunities that support sustainable recovery through community partnerships and responsible social engagement.

The Assam floods have once again highlighted the importance of preparedness, environmental stewardship, and collaborative disaster response. Every year, communities across the Brahmaputra basin demonstrate extraordinary resilience in the face of recurring floods. Their courage serves as an inspiration for organizations across India to contribute meaningfully toward relief and recovery.

ACTIZEET® Cares also encourages businesses, institutions, and citizens to participate in responsible humanitarian efforts through credible organizations and local community groups. Corporate Social Responsibility has the potential to create meaningful impact when resources, expertise, and compassion come together with transparency and accountability.

“As responsible corporate citizens, organizations have an opportunity to support communities beyond business operations,” the spokesperson added. “Whether through financial contributions, volunteer engagement, logistics support, or partnerships with local organizations, every effort can help families move one step closer to recovery.”

    ACTIZEET

ACTIZEET® Cares is committed to ensuring that its humanitarian initiatives align with principles of respect, inclusivity, transparency, and sustainability. The organization believes that relief efforts should prioritize the dignity of affected families while supporting locally coordinated solutions that maximize positive community impact.

The Emergency Flood Relief Initiative also reflects the broader mission of ACTIZEET® Cares to promote social welfare, environmental responsibility, and community development across India. Through various CSR programs, the organization supports initiatives related to environmental sustainability, public awareness, education, community health, and responsible development. The Assam Flood Relief Initiative represents another step toward strengthening this long-term commitment to serving communities during times of need.

ACTIZEET®, known for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and responsible business practices in the natural wellness sector, believes that meaningful social impact begins with empathy and action. While the company’s core mission focuses on providing high-quality wellness products, it also recognizes the importance of contributing positively to society through structured CSR programs that address real community challenges.
